Sequoia National Park and Mineral King are just South of Kings Canyon National Park. The Kaweah River is the main drainage in the area and this trip features the headwaters of the East Fork of the Kaweah. The Mineral King area is a prime location for dry fly fishing and the rare "drive-to" golden trout experience. As with all fishing trips, it is recommended to plan ahead and book a room at Silver City Mountain Resort before they disappear. $475 for two days of guided fly fishing which does not include your lodging.
