Have you ever wanted to learn to Fly Fish our Southern California Bays? Or are you a seasoned salt water fly angler? This is an open invitation for all Southern California Club members to come fish Mission Bay for a multitude of Salt Water species.
If you answered yes to any of the above, the GSF/SWCFFI 1St Annual Interclub Bay Bass Bonanza is for you! GSF will be hosting a day of fun and education!
Mission bay is located just north of downtown San Diego and is a fishing paradise. There are miles of sandy beaches that are productive wading and plenty of launch ramps for those who wish to float.

Suggested Gear:
Fly Rod: 5-8 Weight; 9’ to 10’ in length
Fly Line (Match weight of Rod): Floating, Floating with Intermediate tip, Intermediate with Sink tip.
Flies: Clouser Minnows, bait fish patterns, Deceivers, Woolly Buggers, Crab patterns, Shrimp Patterns
Tippet 6-12 pound, Fluro/ Mono
