About this event
When is a fly not a fly?
Charles Jardine vs Simon Cooper
Thursday April 22nd
11:00am - Pacific Time Zone (USA)
** 7:00pm - BST | United Kingdom time zone
As the traditional world of fly tiers is challenged by the Squirmy Worm, The Mop Fly and other departures from your grandfather’s flies, a new debate is raging. Are these fly creations an intolerable blight on fly fishing or a way to rescue a fishless day?
Tune in at 11.00 AM on Thursday April 22nd (PST)
The debate will feature well-known angler and artist Charles Jardine and Simon Cooper of Fishing Breaks in the UK.
They will exchange barbed (or debarbed) views on this weighty subject, probably over a pot of tea with scones.
