"A Guide's Approach to Water" with James Garrettson

Our February speaker, James Garrettson, a fresh young face on the speaker circuit, will share his approach to the many variables he faces on every guiding day. Weather, river flow, hatches and angler skill level all play a part in the intricate back story. James’ home waters around Taos, New Mexico provide a stunning backdrop to this narrative and a reminder that this State has been overlooked in previous speaker programs. James is a keen advocate of the latest Euro nymphing techniques and an Ambassador the Fulling Mill Company. An accomplished fly tier, he will be tying flies before the meeting.
