Virtual Fly Tying via ZOOM

SKIP’S DAD (Skip Morris – Crayfish)

MATERIALS
HOOK: TMC 3761, #6 - #12 or any regular to heavy wire, 1X to 3X long hook. (I’m going to use a #8)
THREAD: **Brown 8/0 (70 denier), 6/0 (140 denier) or 3/0 (210 denier), depending on hook used.
NOSE: **Brown Antron Dubbing
WEIGHT: Lead or Lead-Substitute Barbell Eyes sized to hook
PINCERS & BACK: **Brown or Redish-Brown Pheasant Tail Fibers
RIB: Fine Copper Wire
ABDOMEN: **Brown Antron Dubbing
TAIL: **Pheasant Tail Fibers (Butts of the fibers that form the pincers & back)
**You might want to try other crayfish colors beyond brown: specifically, pink, orange, greenish-black, and dark blue.
