Virtual Fly Tying via ZOOM

MP 81 (MARC PETITJEAN SPENT SPINNER) – Blue wing Olive
(This fly will be tied & taught by Neal Hoffberg)

MATERIALS 
HOOK: TMC 100 #18 dry fly or any down eye dry fly hook. You my tie larger or smaller if you choose.
THREAD: Black 70 denier
BODY: CDC feather olive or your choice of color.
THORAX: Floss, black
TAILS: Coq d’Leon or substitute with your choice.
WINGS: CDC feathers, dun, any shade; pale, medium, dark

Please use the size hook and materials that work for you. I will tie a blue wing olive. Feel free to tie the spinner of your choice; i.e. Trico, Rusty, etc. Learning the technique is what is important. This is an artistic and highly effective pattern. It can be adapted for any mayfly hatch.
