Virtual Fly Tying via ZOOM

CDC DUN## & CDC COMPARADUN##

(Neal Hoffberg will tie & teach these flies…Basically the same fly, good for the Hot Creek Trico hatch. Different techniques, same result.)

MATERIALS
HOOK: #18 or smaller dry fly hook.
THREAD: Olive 70 denier
TAILS: Coq d’ Leon
BODY: Olive CDC
WING: Natural Light or Medium Dun CDs
HEAD: Tying Thread
NOTES:
## The CDC Dun will require use of a thread that will flatten so that it can be split with your bodkin: UTC 70, Veevus 12/0, Danville 6/0, Benecchi 12/0 (do not use UNI or any thread that is <14/0..it won’t split)
## The CDC Dun will also require the use of a Magic Tool Clamp or similar tool like a Bulldog Clip
## The CDC Comparadun uses the same materials but no Magic Tool Clamp or Bulldog Clip is required.
